Modish casual Korean dining from Seoul


THE CUP, a Korean food brand, showcases authentic casual Korean dining as exemplified by its motto — 3S (Slim, Stylish & Simplicity). Using a paper cup and a simple cooking style as the concept for its restaurant business, THE CUP brought an authentic Korean dining experience to local diners at Hunghom in April 2015 — the first Korean brand of the Café de Coral Group in Hong Kong. THE CUP also has franchised outlets overseas, including France, Singapore and Indonesia.


As a healthy Korean food brand, THE CUP Hong Kong offers a menu prepared by the company’s Korea headquarters. In addition to traditional Korean dishes such as Bibimbap, Seafood Tteokbokki, Soft Tofu and Seafood Jjigae, signature dishes include modern specialities such as Honey Chicken Rice, Bulgogi Fried Udon and Bulgogi Gimbap. As a rice and noodle specialist, THE CUP is perhaps best known for its highlight dish of yellow Cape Jasmine Rice, which is rich in protein, fibre and vitamins.


Created by a Korean designer at the company’s headquarters, THE CUP makes use of white, green and grey as theme colours to connect with local Korean elements.
